Happy Easter! Here are the boys decorating eggs getting ready for the easter bunny to visit. They had a great time decorating eggs and making a big mess, hence my table covered from end to end in newspaper.
Zander painting away. Luckily dad was able to plan a trip to the U.S to get us some easter supplies and was able to help the easter bunny out with some delicious treats.
Cooper thought that decorating was so fun, but was more interested in eating the eggs!
 My serious artist at work.
 Some of the finished products.
Easter morning the kids woke up bright and early of course and came running to our room to tell us the easter bunny had indeed come to our house. The boys had seen some eggs on the stairs and were very impatient to go downstairs.
Cooper was overcome with excitement to see his basket of candy.
 The treasures!
Time to look for hidden eggs! Cooper found some!
After church we were able to catch a few pictures saddle though Cooper was fast asleep. Brock with his basket.
 Zander and his stash!
Kind of family picture missing my little Cooper.
This year I was lucky to share my birthday with this wonderful easter holiday! It was a great day and the boys made it very special complete with breakfast!
I had to grab a shot of Cooper after his nap in his easter vest!

Cooper getting his hair cut! The first time Cooper got his hair cut he hated it, but now he has become a pro, I hate having to cut his curls but luckily they grow right back.
Such a handsome little guy!!!!!

While Aunt Megs was here we took a weekend trip to paracus, a couple hours south of Lima, to bask in the sun and play in the pool. We had a great time relaxing and having fun together. Chris and Megan took the catamaran out a few times and the boys had so much fun being little fishes. Zander is so funny he makes friends wherever he goes and most of the staff here at the hotel remember Z every time we come.
Chris and I on the patio of our room.
So this time we decided to take an adventure and take the whole family sand boarding. I was a little worried about taking Cooper, but it was a blast. Brock sat in the front and thought that was the coolest thing ever. The only bummer was we went in the morning and the sand was soooooo hot, but the kids had a blast despite burning their poor little feet

The dunes were so beautiful, miles and miles of nothing but sand!
Here is Brock sand boarding down the mountain, man that go fast.
Next Z mans turn, his went even faster.
Last but not least even Cooper wanted a go!
Poor Megan trying to run up the hill in the burning hot sand.
If you look closely, you will see that Zander convinced the poor driver to carry him up the hill so he did not burn his feet!
Chris and Megan decided they wanted to give it a go standing up which is more difficult, but they they did it without falling! Yupeee!

Cooper and Z being crazy!

I have been trying to keep my camera close at hand for those times you want a camera but don't have one, and so Cooper and Z had fun being crazy one afternoon and there I was ready to take pictures! You can't really tell from this picture but Roxy our dog is about to bite Zanders butt. She hates it when he rides his scooter up and down the walkway for some reason and he was having fun terrorizing her.
And the winner is...... Cooper! He thinks it is so funny to put all these medals on and show off his muscles!
I love this kid, he will never sit for you to take a picture but he is so photogenic when you are on the fly.
See the mischief in his eyes!

Karate Exam!

Brock was so excited to have his aunt Megan in town to come see him do his karate exam to move up to a green belt. Brock gets super serious in his exams but you can see a glimpse of a smile when he sees you watching him during his exam.
Super serious, getting ready for the big moment. Good luck big guy!

Brock and his sensei, he was picked out of the crowd to do a demonstration in front of the class.
He must have his mothers genes!
Brock passed his Karate exam and is now proudly wearing his green belt. We are so proud of you Brock. Keep up the good work.
Random post of Megs and Brock playing chess. I have yet to meet another 7 year old boy that loves to play chess as much as Brock!

Coopers 1st Day of Preschool!

My baby started preschool in March and it has been bittersweet for both of us! He looks so darling in his uniform and so grown up, it is hard for me to let him go! The first two weeks were tough as he had a hard time letting mommy go, but now he tells me goodbye and gives me my kiss as he walks into class. When I would pick him up the first week he would start crying when he saw me, tears of joy I am assuming. I think he thought that I might not come back. He loves going to school and watch out if you try and touch his lunchbox.
His teacher is wonderful and so loving with all the kids. Miss Rocio, his teacher, tells me that lunch time is his favorite time of day!!!
This is Coopers toy of choice, won't dad be so proud! He loves this baby they have in class and pushes this baby in its stroller all day.
Mommy and her baby!
Yeah mom I am ready for my first day! What a cuttie pie!
