Wow!

So this is Brocks special week at school which means lots of work for mommy. Each day of the week he has to bring something to school and today both Chris and i got to go do an activity with the class. So we made volcanos. So mom made 16 batches of playdough and lots of food coloring, baking soda and viniger vola instant excitement. The kids thought it was pretty cool, and of course we made a mess which I am sure his teacher loved, but all I kept hearing was "mas grande senor Chris."

Brocks Classmates!

Can I play

This is Brock and his bud Vigo, and Zander trying to fit in. I am still having a hard time with the play date protocol here. A play date here means the child's mom or chauffeur drop the child of with their nanny for about 3 to 4 hours!!! It so hard for me to get to know any of the moms, especially when you add in the language barrier. The nannys are not supposed to sit and they call me senora which makes me feel old. i am slowly getting used to the cultural differences.

Chopstix

My lil man with his first pair of chopsticks at mommys favorite restaurant Benihana. He did a great job and got most everything in his mouth.

A`Day at the Park!

It was the first nice day we have had here so we headed out to the park, where the boys had fun chasing dogs around the park. Zander loves dogs, and will stand at the window and point out all the dogs. He is talking a lot now, which is so much fun!

This girl lives in the penthouse in our bldg. and loves Brock.

Give me some Luv!

Brock and Zander sharing a nice brotherly moment. Gees I am glad i had the camera handy in the elevator of our appt. of all places.

No more toilets!

So everyone this is Zaida my favorite person here in Peru! She is awesome! She does all the cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, and even helps out with the kids. So I guess living abroad does have its perks. I sure don't miss cleaning toilets.

A What?

This weekend we went and saw some ruins right here practically in our backyard, they are called Huaca's this one was called Huaca Pucllana. They are amazing structures, and of course the boys thought playing in the dirt was so much fun, but a little frowned upon by the tour guide. There is so much history here in Peru it will certainly keep us busy while we are here. So plan your trip so we can do it with company. Hey you can't beat free room and board.

Playing Hard

So here is brock and his best bud Facundo after a hard afternoon of playing at dragon park. We have this awesome park right in front of our appt. that the boys love, so they crashed on the couch while watching cars. i think they only made through the first 5 minutes.

Mothers Day Treat!

Here is Brock's class at his nido (pre-school). They had a sweet mothers day program in his class where they sang songs in spanish of course and had a little lunch for us. It almost made me cry seeing him up there like such a little man.

Families Forever

Ok last of the Lilly pics, I just love them so I had to share them with you. This was taken in our backyard in PR, we had such an awesome view!

Muy Guapo!

Another shot from Lilly, she has such a way of capturing the sweetest moments. Brock is not a baby anymore, he is growing up way too fast. I cant believe he is three. Time flies so fast. I do have to say he is a much easier kid now. He is such a happy boy, and will talk anyones ear off whether it be in spanish or english. He is a true socialite!

Angel Baby!

So here is one of those darling pics my friend Lilly took of Zander isnt it darling. Look at those eyes, the ladies here in Peru love his eyes. All I hear is "Que Lindo," We are in big trouble if we are living in Latin America when he is a teenager, he already gets all the ladies.

Pictures

I finally figured out how to put a picture on my blog Yeah! The picture was taken by our good friend Lilly in Puerto Rico, before we moved. She takes wonderful pictures and got some really cute ones of the boys. We miss living in the carribean sometimes, especially right now since we are freezing our buns off here. The seasons are opposite here, so we are in winter now, Burrrrrr! Zander wore pants and socks for the first time in his life last week and hates them. I cant get Brock to wear a jacket, he says "Its not frio mom, its caliente," so I get a lot of dirty looks and commentary, Oh well. We are not used to the cold, but its a good excuse to go shopping!
