1st day of School 2012!

So here are my two big guys off and ready for their first day back at school! Well Brock has been going to Cambridge for 2 yrs now, but this year is Z mans first year. They were both super excited and could not wait to be off on their new adventures!

Walking to school. The traffic was so bad I finally pulled over and parked and we went on foot!
Z man and me checking out his new big boy classroom. I can hardly believe how fast this day came. So far he is loving it, and loves going on the bus even more. We live about 25 min from school so they take a bus to and from which thankfully they both love. Have a great year boys!!!!

More Summer fun!

This picture was taken on the very last day at the beach house, we had some very sad boys that day! We had a great summer with friends and family but now it is back to the grind!
Always such a character!
Z man striking a pose.
I love this picture of Cooper, his smile that could melt a million hearts!
Ok big news!!!! Zander learned to ride a big boy bike! It took a little convincing at first, he was quite content with his scooter and training wheels on his bike, but he did it. It only took him a few seconds until he was off and going like a pro. A few beaches down we found a dirt bike track and the boys were all excited to try it out. Poor mom so worried someone was going to get hurt especially because Z just learned how to ride his, but they rode it like champs. Here is Z going down the big ramp.
And he is off!
Ok guys so check out these curls on Coopers head, so dang cute right? All three of my boys have had such different hair, I am just in love with his curls.

Summer Fun 2012!!!

It is summer time baby!!! For the month of Feb. we rented a house on the beach in the south of Lima with some friends of ours and we had a blast. The boys loved having the freedom to ride bikes, play in the sand, and the pool for hours on end. The house was on the front row, so the boys were able to have a bit more freedom than I am able to give them here in Lima. I have a ton of pictures so stayed posted, here is round one of summer fun 2012!

Dad and Cooper playing in the pool!
Mommy and the Coopster waiting for the barbecue to be ready!
MMMMM! Every weekend we had the joy of eating some delicious food prepared by Chris, and any of you who have tried his food know that it is good stuff!
Friends, Sand, Sun, Pool, Beach and good food, what more can you ask for!

Z has the most contagious smile!
Brock sporting some muscles for us!
We had an awesome opportunity to run the first enigizer night race here in Lima with my hubby, sis in law and brother in law in February. It was awesome except that I got trampled and fell on some rocks and ran the race with a bloody had and had a nice big bruise on my leg for weeks afterwards. It was so much fun to do this as a family and hopefully someday we can run one with my boys!

Go karts!

This summer, yes we are in summer right now, we rented a beach house to the south of Lima and we were able to have aunt Megs come spend a couple of weeks with us. There is a place for the kids to drive cars on a track, kind of like go karts, and the kids were dying to go so off we went. Poor Zman was not tall enough yet to reach the pedals so he drove with Megs.
Poor Cooper was not tall enough to do anything except hang out with mom!

Megs and Zander.
Brock and his friend Alejandro getting revved up for the race!

Brock Turns 7!!!

My first born is now seven years old, time has just flown by! It has been an amazing seven years with this big guy, he is so special to us, and has had such amazing experiences in his short time on this earth. Brock has lived in California, only 5 months, Puerto Rico and Lima Peru, not to mention all the places he has been while living abroad. He speaks 2 languages perfectly, and loves doing sports. He is excelling in soccer, karate, and has become quite the little swimmer. Brock is such a sweet boy and we are so lucky to have him in our family. He is turning into be quite the little Chris, even down to his walk. There is no mistaking he is our son and we love him dearly!
This year Brock decided to have a bowling party with 10 of his best friends, which made mom happy because it meant less work for me. Here they all are singing happy birthday with his Mario cake.
Bowling included lunch and cake, so when they finished bowling it was time to bring on the grub.
Brock and his aunt Megs who was able to be here visiting on his birthday.
Us watching the madness of ten competitive boys!
My big boy!
Go Go Go!

We rented a bus to take all the kids to the mall where we were going bowling, all aboard!!!!!
I don't know whether they were more excited about the bus ride or the bowling.
It has now become a tradition that when it is your birthday you get breakfast in bed, so here is Brock enjoying his german pancakes and yogurt!
