Welcome Home from the Boys!

The boys wanted to do their own welcoming as well. Brock says when are you coming here. When I told him you were coming home he thought you were coming here and got so excited. He was telling his friends at school that you were coming, it was really cute.
So Elder Tidwell here are your two cutest nephews, sorry Em, blowing you kisses. Hopefully they reach you all the way in SD. Don't you just love Brock's expression.
They are both yelling uncle Joe in this picture. They can't wait to see you. Brock wants to play football, well soccer in the states, with you. He also wants you to go down the dragon with him(just ask Josh about that one). We all love you and hope you made it home safe.

It took me awhile to figure out how to talk to you.

I sure miss you all and wish you were here. Your ears should have been burning, we have been talking about you so much!!We have been comparing everything Joe does to what Chris did and what Josh did when they got home. We picked up Joe from the same terminal Chris flew in...only this time were were able to find it without any problems. With Chris, we searched forever for it!! We were so afraid we would be late and miss him getting off the plane. :)

Joe, like Chris did, speaks English with a Spanish accent. His companion helped him practice his english for the last two weeks to help get him ready to come home.

On a mother's note, he looks good. His face is clear and clean and happy...you can tell he did a good job while on his mission and feels like he did all he could do while out there. He has a peace and a calm that he did not have before. Joe kind of lets the ocnversation flow around him as he listens in. He brought home a guitar and is spending time putting on the strings and tuning it right now as he just listens and enjoys being a part of the family.

Chris, thank you for calling so many times. It makes the distance seem smaller than it is. It makes it easier to feel you and Danielle closer to us. The boys love teasing you and will probably give you a hard time...the are doing that to every one already! Nevertheless, they are all proud of you and all you have done. You service as a missionary, your choice of Danielle as a wife, the 2 beautiful boys and the amazing work you do in international business. Thank you for being such a wonderful example to your brothers and sisters. We miss you.

Danielle, thank for calling Joe and putting this blog together for him. What a sweet thing to do. You amaze me in all that you have done and the really neet pictures and posts for Joe. He pulled up your blog the minute we drove in the driveway, before he did anything else! I thought he was going to start to cry (we are so lame, we had no signs). At first he thought Zander was Brock! It took him awhile to figure it out.

Anyway, we miss you all. He is dying to talk spanish to Brock. We will be leaving in about half an hour to have him released. I cannot beleive it is almost over! Chris, the boys will miss you on the movie fest of Nacho Libre and X-men 1,2,3 and then the Sports night tomorrow night with chicken wings and poppers.

Love you all, Mom.
